Early Giant

Elongated and blocky, medium-dark orange fruits are uniform in shape. Excellent size potential, fruits range 25-40 lb. avg. 30 lb. Stocky handles, light ribs, and long vine habit. Easy to grow for such a large-fruited type, Early Giant is also well adapted and a reliable producer. Tall fruits with rich color attract attention at roadside stands and farmers' markets. Performs well on moderate spacing (about 30 sq.ft per plant). Also available treated. Avg. 3,100 seeds/lb. Packet: 30 seeds.

Renegade

A reliable producer in an essential size class (medium-large, 40–50 bin count). Striking, rich orange, avg. 14–18 lb. fruits are thick-walled and blocky round. Robust handle, strong PMR, and a medium vine. Consistently high marketable yields and very few culls. Ideal for wholesale and roadside stands. Bred by Dr. Brent Loy. Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew. Also available treated. Avg. 3,000 seeds/lb. Packet: 30 seeds.

Cinnamon Girl

As the name suggests, Cinnamon Girl can be combined with the favorite spice of fall and used for pie filling, in bread, or in any other pumpkin-based recipes. It also makes an excellent small ornamental and completes a winning fall color trio with Sunlight PMR and Moonshine. Our thanks to the University of New Hampshire and Cornell University for working with us to develop this variety. Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew. Short vines. Avg. weight: 3–5 lb. Blanco

Crisp white coloration holds well in the field. Nicely ribbed and perfect for decorating or carving. High yielding. Compared to Moonshine, Blanco is 3–5 pounds smaller with improved powdery mildew resistance. Combine with Sunlight PMR and Cinnamon Girl PMR for a great display. Blanco means "white" in Spanish. Jill Be Little

Uniform and high yielding Jill-Be-Little has a flattened shape and wide, deep ribs. Orange, 1/2 lb. fruits measure 3–4" diam. x 2 1/2" tall. Great for tabletop and window displays, especially when paired with Spark. Improved disease resistance over Munchkin, which it replaced. Strong long vine plants. We recommend planting at 2' in-row spacing. Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew. Avg. 6,400 seeds/lb. Packet: 30 seeds.

Harrowsmith 

This handsome selection of mixed gourds was developed by Jim Harvey, a grower and Johnny's customer from Massachusetts. A mix of mostly warted pears, dumplings, patty pans, cheeses, and other shapes in a range of colors. Avg. weight: 8–12 oz. USDA Certified Organic. Avg. 7,200 seeds/lb. Packet: 30 seeds.

Gremlins

Gremlins are bright, bold, and crazy with warts. Small to medium-size (5–7"+) gourds with various solid and speckled vibrant colors, in a multitude of shapes: stars, wings, acorns, mushrooms, necks, and more. A complete stunner in our trials. Daisy

A colorful mix in shades of green, orange, yellow, and white with a unique daisy pattern on the stem end of the fruit. Developed by Larry Eckler of Niles, MI. Performs best with 24" in-row spacing. Avg. weight: 5–8 oz. Avg. 9,800 seeds/lb. Packet: 30 seeds.
