Walnut and Mesquite Wood Salt and Pepper Shakers
Hand-turned on a lathe, these salt and pepper shakers were crafted from walnut and mesquite woods. The woods were cut to thickness and glued in order to create the walnut stripes. The outer shape was cut on the lathe. The inner holes were then cut on a drill press to allow for the seasonings. The small top holes were cut to allow release of the seasonings onto food.
