Mixed Wood Salt Cellar and Spoon Rest

$50.00

This cellar and rest were hand-turned on a lathe. The wood was selected and glued into layers. After the glue cured, it was put on the lathe to shape and separate. Once the cylinder was rounded, the lid was shaped and cut from the rest of the cylinder. The inside of the cellar was cut. It was then separated from the spoon rest. The lip on the spoon rest was shaped and it was cut from the remaining cylinder. Once the final shape was achieved on all pieces, it was all given a clear polyurethane finish.

Made of walnut, maple, red oak, and ash woods

It is food safe, but should not receive soap treatments.

It is NOT dishwasher or microwave safe.

Salt Cellar is 4.25"x 4.25"x 3.5"
