This meat was harvested February or March of 2021. It was vacuum sealed and flash frozen at processing, and has remained sealed and frozen throughout storage. There is no expiration on frozen, sealed meat. We use this meat for our family meals.

Chili meat can come from most areas. It is most often taken from a leaner area that is less favorable for steaks. The meat is cubed or ground to facilitate cooking.
